I’m Thimo, the guy behind Jungle Delicacy, and together with my wife, Jovita, we’re bringing you the best pure cacao & wild spices straight from the jungle. Once, I was a passionate chef, but after a massive burnout, depression, and an unhealthy lifestyle, I left the chef’s world behind. Now, I’m out in the jungle, elbow-deep in tropical soil, working with cacao & spice farmers to share these natural remedies with you. Backed by a long history of wisdom, combined with modern lab testing and craftsmanship, we ensure only the best of the best. 100% pure specialty cacao and powerful spice combinations changed my life!

What is Our mission?
Highest Quality Products: To bring you the highest quality cacao, vanilla, and spices from the tropics. While we start with Bali, our search for tropical foods will extend to other islands and countries in Asia and South America.
Direct Farmer Partnership: We work directly with farmers, investing in soil, harvesting, and planting for the future. From making ceremonial cacao to crafting spice mixes, we are involved in every step of the process, ensuring the highest quality, fair business practices, sustainability, and uniqueness. We call this “Delicacies from the Jungle.”
Transparency and Exposure: We aim to expose and openly show the realities of the cacao and spice trade, from the dark sides to the bright. Transparency is key, so our customers truly know what they are buying, where it comes from, and that it is healthy and safe to consume.
Support for Small-Scale Farmers: We understand that small-scale farming is challenging in today’s world. Nevertheless, we choose to work with small-scale farmers to give them a chance to thrive, ensuring they receive fair prices for their naturally produced, chemical-free products.
Education and Advocacy: We are committed to educating our customers about the importance of choosing high-quality, healthy, and sustainable foods over cheap supermarket options from multi-million dollar brands. Together, we can make a change for the better, for our children and future generations.
Our Story & our roots
In 2020, we began working with cacao, vanilla, and spice farmers in Bali, Indonesia. After years of learning about tropical farming and finding the right partners, we launched Jungle Delicacy in 2023. Thimo, a former chef, and Jovita, our digital guru, traded the rat race of a hectic European business life for a healthy and happy lifestyle in the jungle. Our passion for sustainability and quality led us to create Jungle Delicacy, a venture dedicated to doing good for the world and the people in it.
Our journey at Jungle Delicacy took root in the fertile grounds of Bali, where Thimo first crossed paths with Nyoman, a master of the land’s secrets. This encounter opened up an entirely new world. The idea of founding Jungle Delicacy arose from countless conversations with farmers and small-scale producers who were fed up with selling their products at global commodity prices but often lacked the knowledge and financial resources to change this.
We’re here to do more than just trade in spices and cacao. We’re building a legacy of empowerment for the farming families we work with, ensuring they have access to education, better healthcare, and a life they can thrive in. And it’s not just about the people; we’re deeply committed to caring for the planet. Our business is driven by a relentless focus on community, sustainability, and real impact.
